Sunny Side Up

Tides Cafe is a small family friendly cafe located in San Remo, Mandurah approximately 50 minutes south of Perth.
This quaint and comfortable cafe boasts pristine beach views, located in the newly built Mandurah Surf Lifesaving club. Tides Cafe is capable of seating approximately 60 people and although a relatively small complex, the panaramic views of the ocean are wide and inviting.

This reasonably priced cafe has friendly service and an expansive menu with something to suit all tastebuds. Even though they were extremely busy on the morning of our visit,we were greeted with a smile and they seemed  more than happy to accomodate our fairly large group. After we took in the views of the ocean, it was time to decide on our breakfast. With so many delicious choices on the menu, this took some time. I chose the San Remo breakfast- toasted turkish bread topped with poached eggs, sauteed spinach leaves, mushrooms, cherry tomatoes, red onion and avocado. Our table ordered an array of menu items including a bacon and egg toastie, the classic breakfast, pancakes with icecream and syrup and scrambled eggs. It was great to see kids menu options and glueten free options available also. 

To accompany our breakfast, we each placed an order for a large coffee too.

Within moments of placing our order, our large coffees arrived at our table. Large is an understatement- they were MASSIVE- big enough to swim in! 

Like our coffees, each of the meals were of a decent size which was suprising and quite unexpected seeing as the prices were so low. My meal was not described well on the menu, but looked and tasted delicious too! 

Tides Cafe has definitely proved itself in Mandurah, with it's reviews and social media pages loaded with positve comments and reflections from happy customers. Tides has most certainly become high on my go-to coffee places and I cannot wait to return to sample some of the lunch menu items.
